Hyperpigmentation Care
Laser skin rejuvenation that works to reduce the look of dark spots and reveal a brighter, more even-toned complexion.
Hyperpigmentation covers the dark patches many people know as brown spots, age spots, sun spots, or post-acne marks. At Ridgeline, we address it with the Alma Harmony XL Pro, a laser platform that can be adjusted for a range of skin types and tones. The light energy is absorbed by excess pigment and breaks it into smaller fragments that the body clears as the skin renews. Treated spots often darken briefly, then flake and fade over a week or two. Most patients see meaningful change across three to four sessions spaced about four weeks apart, with the exact plan shaped by the type and depth of pigment. Consistent sun protection and medical-grade skincare help support and extend the results.
A calm, considered process from consult to aftercare.
Consultation
We assess your skin type and the type, depth, and extent of your pigment, then determine the safest, most effective approach for you and give a realistic estimate of how many sessions you may need.
Treatment
Each session runs about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the area. You feel a warm snapping sensation as the laser pulses; a topical numbing cream is available if you would prefer more comfort.
Aftercare
There is little to no downtime. Use SPF 30 or higher daily and avoid direct sun for about two weeks while treated spots flake and fade. We may pair sessions with HydraFacial or skincare to maintain clarity.
A good fit for people frustrated by brown spots, sun damage, or uneven tone who want a brighter, more even complexion. It suits those ready to protect their skin from sun afterward to help preserve results.
